Jeffrey brings 20 years of operations management and
business process expertise to Blue Mango Innovation. Jeffrey has invested the last 2 years working
on public relations and marketing matters for a non-profit organization. For the first 7 years of his career, Jeffrey
managed projects and engineered processes for Philip Morris USA, Hoechst
Celanese (now Celanese), and Cape Industries (now Invista). Jeffrey commissioned and started PET resin
plants in Mexico, Canada, and Germany during his tenure with Hoechst
Celanese. He learned some Spanish while
working in Mexico for 18 months.
Over the next 11 years, Jeffrey earned his operations and
business process experience with Polypore International, Inc.. He lead initiatives developing manufacturing
teams, improving shop floor performance, and establishing supply chain
processes. He has lead and implemented
ERP (procure-to-pay) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
processes. He was also an internal
consultant helping Polypore subsidiaries to create new or to improve existing
business processes.
Jeffrey has MS Mechanical
Engineering and BS Electrical Engineering degrees from Virginia Tech. He is a student of leadership guru John
Maxwell and a Linked In follower of Oliver Wight and APICS. He also enjoys gardening, exercise, a capella
harmony singing, and occasionally driving a fine-tuned sports car really fast
